HAC Infra - Sprint 221, HAC Infra - Sprint 222
In order to allow Red Hat to collect wanted data from Pendo, there may be the need to add Pendo events to the code. This is most important for both the OSD and ROSA wizards. This work is stated in HAC-983.
The team didn't have enough technical information about putting in Pendo events and where to add those events so the correct data could be collected. The wanted data is listed in: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NP2I--Qbtfjenn-Mgi1Zd_G0A1hm7f7z7BW2vUoxNpg/edit#gid=736255001
The goal of this spike is to have enough of an understanding so HAC-983 (and any newly created related stories) can be estimated.
Items identified as needed additional information include:
- Identifying a Pendo expert to help the team determine what data needs to be sent and when in what order to fulfill requests in the linked spreadsheet
- See if there are easier "low hanging" fruit items that can be added very quickly. These items may be related to just seeing if a button/link is pressed. If so, those items are put into a new story and estimated along with
HAC-983 - Determine how we can best test any Pendo-related code. (aka how do developers know that the code was effectively picked up as usable data by Pendo).
