SizeRotatingHandlerTestCase.rotationTest fails with "the file is bigger than allowed size"

The test org.jboss.as.test.integration.logging.operations.SizeRotatingHandlerTestCase.rotationTest consistently fails with:

java.lang.AssertionError: This file is bigger than allowed rotate-size: size-rotating-reload-rotationTest.log.1
