Steps to Reproduce:

Deploy a WAR file with an xhtml page with a web socket, disable and then enable the project in the management console.

Load page and watch in network tab of developer tools as HTTP 101 gets fired constantly.

I attached a Maven project with which to easily verify the issue. A compiled WAR file is located in Websocket/target/.

The web socket constantly tries to reconnect - HTTP 101 is triggered every second indefinitly.
