Option to allow custom status messages in header

Tomcat 7 offers a configuration option that allows users to set custom status messages for status codes: USE_CUSTOM_STATUS_MSG_IN_HEADER

I looked at adding something similar to Undertow using various types of wrappers but was ultimately stumped.

I'd understand any unwillingness to add this feature, however I'm curious as to how it could be achieved.
