At the moment not much value is added to having 2 different URLs for staging and production gateway. This is not reflected in different analytic views, nor is suited to mapping different environments or API versions.
After the discussion in JIRA 3523 I suggest then the removal of the Production gateway URL (I will keep the Staging one because it includes the test towards the Backend).
