ModelExtensionAssistantAdapter Does Not Enforce The API Javadocs Of The ModelExtensionAssistant Interface

There are methods in the ModelExtensionAssistantAdapter that are returning null when the ModelExtensionAssistant interface guarantees the return value will never be null. Need to look at all methods in the adapter and ensure they conform to the interface javadocs.
