This is a split issue from RHOAIENG-3830 which aimed at fixing this bug described below, but instead was blocked by an upstream issue. There was still a code change to add a work around in the related issue (wrapping the text), however this still doesn't 100% solve the issue, only lowers its impact. This issue is to track the upstream effort to fix the bug at its root in patternfly: https://github.com/patternfly/react-log-viewer/issues/3
Steps to reproduce it:
1. Configure Pipeline Server
Add and run the attached pipeline or follow steps 2-7, if you're using the attached pipeline skip to step 8.
2. Start workbench using Standard Data Science
3. Add this Environment variables for Workbench in Self-Managed
Type: Config Map (Key / value)
Name: PIPELINES_SSL_SA_CERTS
Value: /var/run/secrets/kubernetes.io/serviceaccount/ca.crt
4. Clone repo: https://github.com/erwangranger/DS-Pipelines-Samples
5. Open stocks.pipeline
6. Set Runtime Image = Data Science with python 3.9 to all pipeline steps, you can do this by clicking on the right panel beside "Runtime: Data Science Pipelines"
after clicking on each pipeline node and moving to "Pipeline Properties" tab > Generic Node Defaults section > Runtime Image
7. Run stocks.pipeline
8. Go to Dashboard > Data Science Pipelines > Runs and verify that the pipeline runs correctly. Please verify that the Logs in the steps can be seen and they show a green sign
9. Click on any node starting with `get` like `get_1` and check whether you see any overlapping characters in the logs
