      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

The kubevirt-csi driver was introduced into hypershift by having the cpo and hcco lay down the controller and node components directly

Now that the cluster storage operator (CSO) is hosted control plane aware, we should converge the kubevirt-csi driver into the CSO in order to remain consistent with how all other red hat csi drivers are installed and maintained.

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

      • Transition the installation and lifecycle management of kubevirt-csi from the hypershift components (cpo/hcco) to the cluster storage operator (cso)

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      • All kubevirt-csi components should be installed and lifecycle managed by the cso
      • existing kubevirt-csi installations must be able to migrate seamlessly and be adopted by the cso without impacting user workloads.
