Due to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2091159, we know that "OpenShift Builder is strict on parsing the registry reference, and does not accept the "http(s)" prefix.". The docs https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/4.10/html-single/cicd/index#builds-docker-credentials-private-registries_creating-build-inputs needs to changed accordingly or add a warning to the customer that they need to remove http[s] manually because of bz 2091159.
