      Description of problem:

Customer is backing up application namespaces with oadp installed over ODF, backups are stored in noobaa, that is, inside the OCP cluster, in case customer has a failure in the OCP cluster backups won't be available.

Looking for alternatives to store backups outside the OCP cluster when installing OADP with ODF other than using an external S3 store.

Customer has commvault to store backups and would like to know if there's a way to expose the ODF Noobaa, where the buckets with OADP backups are, so that commvault can store these OADP backups outside the ocp cluster.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      • OpenShift 4.

      How reproducible:

      • All the time in a OCP + OADP + ODF internal setup

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Have OCP with internal ODF installed
      2. Install OADP on the same cluster
      3. Configure DPA CR with backupLocations pointing to internal ODF service

      Actual results:

OADP backups are stored in the internal ODF
