Repository explorer web app generates a lot of errors in EAP with "jcr/sample" web app

When using the repository explorer web app and simply navigating in the tree view down the "/jcr:system" subtree, I noticed a lot of errors in the EAP6.1 console. (I'll add these in a comment rather than the description to keep the JIRA emails smaller.)
