Connector SPI's "update" method should inform connector of changes to documents/nodes

Presently, connectors have a difficult time discerning which properties and children have changed when updating a document. Although it's still useful to send the whole document down to the connector via the update method, it would be useful for the connector to also have a description of what changed so that the connector can properly update only the changed information in the external system.
