RPM: dependency on base-os 'apr-util-ldap' package from '-optional' channel

      Yes, same applies. For many products the optional channel is indispensable -- it is part of the OS anyway, just used in niches so kept separately.

      If there is any difference from JWS3 then re-open this ticket (please, test that if you can). We haven't touched any of those "apr" packages for RHEL-6 -- we are using the same JWS3 ones, so they should work exactly the same as JWS3.

    Description

      On RHEL7 when installing package 'jbcs-httpd24-mod_ldap', there is dependency into base-os '-optional' channel on package 'apr-util-ldap'. According to these documents here and here, packages from 'optional' channels are not supported. Therefore is it intentional to have such dependency to '-optinal' channel?

      As JBCS is a new product I think now it is time to evaluate this and potentially solve this out.

      (I am marking this as a blocker as this should be resolved/clarified before initial relase).
