SOAPMessageUnMarshaller:

SOAPMessage soapMsg = new MessageFactoryImpl().createMessageInternal(mimeHeaders, inputStream, true);

tries to create the message and with ingnoreParseException=true. The inputStream is empty.

Is there a way to know that the HTTP response is empty?
