white spaces within <![CDATA[ ]]> element of a SOAP message are not retained

    Description

      It seems the Axis layer is trimming the content of CDATA sections just like it does for other strings during deserialization. This bug definitely exists for whitespaces at the beginning or at the end of a CDATA section.

      It needs to be verified if the whitespaces within the CDATA section (not at the edges) are affected by this. My guess is that it is not affected.

      Workaround:
      Please use the new JBossWS stack that will be available as part of JBoss 4.0.4
