Listing pages unchecks previosuly checked rows

The selection of rows, made on the current page using check box, gets erased the moment the page is changed.
Furthermore, check all check box is expected to select all rows on all pages. However, this can't be validated if it really is the case, because the present issue is erasing all selected boxes when changing the page and hence giving out an impression that check all functionality covers only the current page.
