Wrong permission handling in installer

Previous versions of the JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 5 graphical installer required 'root' privileges to run. Consequently, all files created or modified by EAP (including the launcher icons) inherited these permissions and could not be used by other accounts. To correct this behavior, the requirement for the graphical installer to be run as 'root' has been removed (the documentation has also been updated) and unprivileged users can now install and run an EAP 5 instance using the graphical installer.

Documentation require to install as root, if you click on icon in the menu, the user owned process which is then run doesn't have necessary permissions to work (create, delete) with files inside the installation.

For example it is not possible to:

      • run server
      • uninstall application

This effectively breaks almost all features of graphical installation!

I'll add log from the production profile after trying to run it with icon.
