When using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7 or IE 8 in IE7 Compatibility Mode, the administration console's main panel would sometimes be blank. This was due to a Microsoft CSS extension used by the administration console that had been deprecated in IE 6 and removed in IE 7. This issue has been resolved by updating the administration console's CSS to use a standard style rendering that is compatible with IE 6 and later.

Many of the pages in admin-console contain a blank content area with vertical and horizontal scroll-bars displayed at the top of the main content area. The vertical scroll bar is very short – essentially indicating that the control is not tall enough for content to be displayed.

This issue can be seen in IE7 and in IE8 when IE8 is running in IE7 Compatible View mode.
