With every release, we usually make many small (or not so small) changes to the docs. I recommend you do a svn diff on the docs between this release and the last one to see any changes that also need to be updated in EAP.

This can easily be done using svn diff on the command line. For example:

svn diff http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/messaging/tags/JBossMessaging_1_4_0_SP3_CP07/docs/userguide http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/messaging/tags/JBossMessaging_1_4_0_SP3_CP08/docs/userguide

This would tell you all the differences in the docs between the forthcoming release and the one before that. If you run the above you will see there have been quite a few changes due to the work Howard has done in the release.

This needs to be done for every JBM release. I believe it has not been done in previously releases which explains why the EAP docs have diverged from the project docs, and once the docs have diverged it will be a nasty job getting them back on line. Relying on JIRA is not a good strategy.
