1) make sure you have a server adapter for a JBoss AS server
2) create a new "Dynamic Web project" (DONT add it to your server!)
3) double click your server adapter in the "Servers view" so that the adapter editor pops up
4) change to the "Deployment tab"
5) Your dynamic web project is listed even though you did not add it.

On the "Deployment" tab of the server adapter editor we currently list all dynamic web projects that are available. We do not only list those that were added to the adapter. This is confusing in my eyes. The tomcat adapter, which also has a deployment tab, only lists the projects that were added to the adapter. IMHO this is what a inexperienced user would expect.
