1) make sure you have a some server running and occupying port 8080 (ex. as7) 2) define a AS6 server adapter 3) start it 4) wait until server adapter is fully started Result: You can clearly see in the log that the server adapter failed to start (because of another server that occupies port 8080). The adapter on the other hand does not reflect this error. It states [started, (synchronized)] even though the server could not be started.
