      1. Set up a remote WildFly 8 server (no runtime, use management)
      2. Make sure the java process on the remote host is bound to fail - e.g. have java 6 as the default java (WildFly requires java 7)
      3. Start the server
      Result:

      • on the host, the java process failed
      • in JBDS, the Server view shows the server is starting (until the timeout is reached)

When you set up a remote server and then start it, but the java process on the remote host fails (e.g. wrong java version), the tooling will show that the server is starting. It should recognize that failed process.
