in OpenShift we currently depend on jsch 0.1.44. Eclipse Indigo ships with jsch 0.1.46. JCraft released 0.1.48 in the meantime that improves / fixes bugs that are related to port forwarding (http://www.jcraft.com/jsch/ChangeLog):

• bugfix: in the agent forwarding mode, "ssh-add -l" on the remote
  will freeze. FIXED
• change: for the efficiency, channel opening will be delayed
  in local port forwarding.
