      Description

Juno is coming - This year, lets see if we can stay compatible. There should be a compatibility layer so unless we use changed internal API's we should be fine.

If you have a plugin that does not compile/work then we should investigate what options we got - trying to avoid having to maintain two forks!

            Nick,

When trying to build locally, with either local.target (updated to Juno) or unified.target, I get

: "No solution found because the problem is unsatisfiable.": ["Unable to satisfy dependency from com.thoughtworks.xstream 1.3.1.v201111240924 to package org.xmlpull.mxp1 [1.1.3.4,2.0.0).", "Unable to satisfy dependency from com.thoughtworks.xstream 1.3.1.v201111240924 to package org.xmlpull.v1 [1.1.3.4,2.0.0).", "Unable to satisfy dependency from org.apache.jasper 7.0.26.v201205030742 to bundle org.apache.catalina [7.0.26,7.0.27).", "Unable to satisfy dependency from org.apache.tomcat.util 7.0.26.v201205030742 to bundle org.apache.catalina [7.0.26,7.0.27).", "No solution found because the problem is unsatisfiable."

Which target should I use to build locally?

TP may still be missing some IUs. Can you build using Denis' approach above, using:

            -Djbosstools-target-site=http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/juno/SR0/

            0. install Juno JEE bundle
            1. Add http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/core/trunk/
            2. Install any of these:

            a) "Abridged" category
            b) all features
            c) all features except sources

            3. On restart you can then run Central and install the extras too.

I think we're done here. Except for JBDS-2244, that is.

Closing the Jira. JBT/JBDS running on Juno - all new issues will be handled in separate Jiras.
