I have a web-app project which depends on a service project. The services project contains a META-INF/batch-jobs directory with batch job definitions. However, the batch-jobs directory is not recognized.
Specifically, I receive

JBAS020560: BeanManager service was not added on the deployment. Ensure the deployment has a META-INF/batch.xml file or the META-INF/batch-jobs directory contains batch configuration files.

When I move the META-INF/batch-jobs directory to the web-app, everything works. Is this desired behavior?

Note: I also have a beans.xml in the META-INF dir of my service project.
