See if we can include update number information in the version.txt when provisioning EAP.

We deliberately chose not to do this for EAP 8, as the version.txt is static content that is part of the eap feature pack and we will not be updating the feature pack zip for every update. Many updates will only involve a change to the eap channel's manifest file.

See if we can work around this.

Note that this enhancement would not involve changing the representation of the update version, e.g. to represent the update number as a 'micro' in a major.minor.micro sequence.
