      JBossWS project is using jboss-servlet-api_3.0_spec - https://github.com/jbossws/jbossws-cxf/blob/master/pom.xml#L998

      jboss-servlet-api_3.1_spec should be used to be in sync with product and so jbossws-cxf-client is using productized version of the artifact
