      During this testing scenario

      • Workflow:
        • Start two clusters, 16 clients, let them do requests.
        • Scale up to 3 servers, while clients do requests.
        • Assert that there are no errors in logs.
        • Assert that clients stick to their old servers.
        • Stop clients, start a new batch of 16.
        • Let them do requests.
        • Verify all three servers respond.

       

      this error message is emitted in log.

      N.B. This issue was cloned from 7.4.x.  The exception can be triggered under the same conditions in 7.3.x, but the stacktrace will be different.
