    Description

      Escape syntax should be

      {escape 'escape-character'}

      instead of plain escape 'escape-character'. See "5.1.6 SQL Escape Syntax in Statements" http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/jdbc/getstart/statement.html
