Both *-persistence and *-persistence-ssl templates use StatefulSet without declaring that in name itself.[1][2]

As I understood StatefulSet is used for clustered deployment and imho shouldn't be mixed into other template. All other variants extending functionality of basic template should probably use DeploymentConfig as default.
