      Attached test case demonstrates the problem. Just download ActiveMQ 5.11, add transport.subscriptionStrategy=mqtt-virtual-topic-subscriptions option to the default MQTT connector and start the broker. Executing mvn install will demonstrate the problem.

      Adding transport.subscriptionStrategy=mqtt-virtual-topic-subscriptions option to the default MQTT connector in ActiveMQ 5.11 brakes topic subscriptions management.

      To be exact if given topic is subscribed twice, using wildcard and explicit topic name, the message will be delivered only to one of those.
