    Description

We see that /opt/jolokia/etc/jolokia.properties has the jolokia.properties with the user and password and that /opt/jolokia/etc/jolokia.pw contains just the password. The password in question is randomly generated and allows openshift proxying from outside the openshift sdn, and as well access from within the pod.

The password itself however is not configurable at the moment and in some cases may not adhere to a given password policy, or use case. It would be useful if the jolokia password was configurable. There is a range of what this could mean depending on the overall security and pod configuration implications:

      • only when generating the projects through an archetype.
      • overridable through an environment variable
