Customers are asking whether we support/certify Apache DBCP 2 with JBoss Fuse. Fuse 6.1 ships with DBCP 1.4, but the DBCP Web site

states

"DBCP 2 binaries should be used by applications running under Java 7.
DBCP 1.4 binaries should be used by applications running under Java 6."

We have documentation that describes how to use DBCP 2, e.g.:

But nowhere in any documentation I can find is there any clear statement that we actually test or certify it.
