    • Fuse Online

To address the tracing requirements in the POC, we have installed Fuse Online 1.9 version [1] with Jaeger enabled in the custom resource file [2].

We've created a AMQP Broker producer and a consumer as follows:

      Integration 1
API REST (POST method) > Data Mapper > AMQP Message Broker Connector > RH AMQ Broker (publish message) > log > Data Mapper > API response.

      Integration 2
RH AMQ Broker (Subscribe for messages) < AMQP Message Broker Connector > Log

However in the Jaeger console, these 2 steps do not show as part of the same context, but as independent transactions.

We would like to see an end to end distributed tracing. Is it possible to add this feature in the Fuse Online roadmap?

As per the documentation [3] describes jaeger as a new feature to enhance activity tracking, but not much information about target use cases.

We will appreciate any help on this matter, it is something that a potential customer is looking for.
