@Resource dependency injection broken in @Service POJOs

After migrating from JBoss AS 4.0.4RC1 to 4.0.4.CR2 @Service POJOs relying on @Resource dependency injection started to throw exceptions. The problem was reproduced using a separate test project. The DI fails, annotated members variables are not initialized.
