Hundreds of duplicate URL alias nodes blocking migration of pages

There appear to be hundreds of duplicate URL nodes in the system for each page in drupal. In order to migrate, the existing URL alias nodes for pages being migrated need to be deleted – per the documentation (it's not feasible for someone go in and delete all these for each page.) See screenshot.

This is currently blocking our migration and updates of pages.
