In the Customer Portal documentation for the Db2, MongoDB, Oracle, and PostgreSQL connectors, Step 5 of the procedure for using Streams to deploy the connector shows the OpenShift CLI command for creating a connector resource, followed by an example that provides sample values. In the examples, the name of a YAML file is supposed to be prefixed with the name/type of the connector, which is derived from an attribute.
However, instead of the attribute value, the example displays the attribute name.

Reviewing the source shows that in the source blocks where the problem occurs, attributes substitution (subs="+attributes") is not defined. The problem is present in the following files:

      • proc-using-streams-to-deploy-a-debezium-mongodb-connector.adoc L120
      • proc-using-streams-to-deploy-a-debezium-db2-ora-pg-connector.adoc L109

In a third file , proc-using-streams-to-deploy-a-debezium-mysql-sqlserver-connector.adoc, which provides content for the MySQL and SQL Server connectors, attributes substitution is correctly defined.
