Support configuring different encodings for binary source data

    Description

      We want to be able to decode binary data without access to a Java client. In other words, support presenting the data as base64 or hex encoded.

      Suggestion as per gmorling@redhat.com is adding a connector option that lets you control encoding of binary columns.
