Current approach to verify user credentials and T&C's status is to access this link
with basic authorization it works fine until this file is deleted during clean up or for any other reason. We can keep updating it to reference latest release but it is still additional change, that should be done in very last moment before release.
Is there any other way to do the same but using URL that would change less frequently? I would suggest:
- https://developers.redhat.com/download-manager/rest/tc-accepted without any parameters, because it seems now T&C's signing is always the same set of check boxes and doesn't depend on specific product;
- https://developers.redhat.com/download-manager/rest/tc-accepted?productId=CDK for CDK if I am wrong and T&C's are still product specific.
In both options above we would not need to change code with every release to update to latest release download.
