There is a new feature that allows the submit client to invoke SETSYSPROPS command to the listener which allows the client to re-configure byteman. There is also LISTSYSPROPS that lets the client list the current sys prop configuration settings (see Submit.setSystemProperties and Submit.listSystemProperties).
For security purposes, the default is to only allow a client to get and set sysprops that start with "org.jboss.byteman.", however, you can tell Byteman, via the "org.jboss.byteman.sysprops.strict" sysprop to allow clients to get and set all sys props by setting it to false (again, its default is true). Note that Byteman will NOT allow a client to set that strict property to false - a client can only set it to true - i.e. a client can only tell Byteman to be strict)
This "org.jboss.byteman.sysprops.strict" needs to be documented.
