Provide a way to control the tracing output remotely (i.e. without changing the scripts)

As noob I just wanted to be able to run bmsubmit -s classmonitor.bmr -out trace.out -out trace.err so I can get the output for apps that might not have standard out/err available (i.e. eclipse or other desktop apps)
