I think the procedure became drawn-out and harder to follow because of the new details in Step 3. I suspect it would be better to split the second-third bullets of Step 3 into a section 6.1.

However, that module would in no way at all be self-contained, and subsections within a module are not in the procedure template.

I would very much appreciate your opinion on the matter.
