Datasource pool parameters cannot be edited in the admin console without disabling the datasource first

On the admin console, go to a datasource it's pool parameters. You can click the edit button, enter new values, but it will not allow you to safe them with the message that the datasource needs to be disabled first. Doing the same from the CLI (write-attribute) works fine.
