If we try to start a demo without the google-play-services plugin installed then firebase will fail to run.

We should make sure our templates and demos include this plugin. Also we have to make sure the docs refer to the plugin.

We should make an epic to document how to use the google-services plugin and also how to set up your application so it isn't required.
