Description
What?
Experiment with the new token-based auth from apple. A new token-auth variant (for iOS) might be needed
Why?
As discussed in https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2016/724/ for APNs they offer JWT based auth as an alternative approach, instead of using their bogus certificates.
How?
- investigate token-based auth (including expiration time and renewal)
- create a token-based variant, so users can go w/ auth tokens for sending push to APNs
