Links to JSON don't open in Android

    Details

      Description

In order to pull/push the member info from/to poh5-aerogear.rhcloud.com, a whitelist entry has to be added to cordova.xml in the Android project. When you do that, it forces that domain to always open in the app rather than open in the device's browser. The app sees it as a file reference and then doesn't open the JSON for viewing.

This appears to be a combination of an Android issue and a Cordova issue with regard to white listing URL's for use in AJAX communications. Once the URL has been white listed, most Android devices will not open links to that domain in a browser. Android 4 will open the URL within the app which is an improvement but still not ideal. We have no control over this issue.
