MCP Team 2 Sprint 4
What
Test and verify self defence check metrics for Android with server side metrics
Related to https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AGDROID-735, but focused on the self defence check metrics work that is tasked out in this Epic.
Why
So we know the feature works as expected at all touchpoints i.e. the SDK & App Metrics service
How
- Build and run an App (based on the Android example in the aerogear-android-sdk repo) that is configured with details of a running App Metrics service
- Confirm that the self defence checks are being run on device when the App starts (or when a button is pressed or whatever mechanism triggers them) and the results are send to the App Metrics server.
- As the dashboard of self defence metrics is not being done currently, App Metrics server logs & the Postgres db will need to be verified as having received and created the metric data from the SDK.
