Matt from UX team:
I was a bit unclear about the need for an Overview page unless the tool can be run against multiple applications at once and I would use this page to select between different application reports.
In the current report, I found the pie chart at the top of the application report confusing, although I can see the value in reflecting effort by packages as well as source files. In the referenced document you'll see some recommendations about how this could be made more useful.
The current organization of the application report page makes it hard to see the hierarchical relationship between files. See my recommendations.
There were aspects of the visual presentation that can be simplified to make the reports more readable. This is especially true for the source report page. The color usage on this page does not relate to the rest of the report.
A couple of people I showed this to questioned the meaning/usage of story points here as a metric, noting that they would want more information about what your assumptions were about what 1 story point is before they could consider the estimates given here as useful.
