Package Selection - Application Packages not checked for selection by default

When testing the Web UI the package selection I came across a problem with the package selection controls. The Application packages are selected (listed in the upper right hand box) but the application package tick boxes are not ticked.
If you tick only one of the application tick boxes (say the top one) all of the the other application packages drop into the lower (unselected) right hand box.

The solution is simple. Ensure the Application package tick boxes are selected (ticked) by default.
