SwitchIdentityTestCase cannot authenticate

    Description

      The two SwitchIdentityTestCase classes both attempt a DIGEST-MD5 authentication. For some reason the authentication is rejected. A debug session shows the user name, password, host name, and protocol all seem to match between client and server.
